University of Guam Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities Education, Research, and Service (Guam CEDDERS) is located at UOG’s main campus on Dean Circle and has been part of the Administration on Disabilities network for the past 30 years as a University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities (UCEDD), previously University Affiliated Program (UAP). CEDDERS is the only fully funded UCEDD in the Western Pacific serving Guam, and provides outreach to US affiliated Pacific entities.
CORE FUNCTIONS
As mandated by the Developmental Disabilities Assistance and Bill of Rights Act of 2000, Guam CEDDERS is committed to its core functions that include interdisciplinary training, services and supports, and research and dissemination activities that reflect cultural relevance and sensitivity.
